1. Introduction
Welcome to the Whispering Lights affiliate program, a specialist in handcrafted candles. By signing up for this program, you agree to the terms and conditions described below.
2. Program Registration
- Registration for the affiliate program is free and open to anyone of legal age who has a website, blog, social media account, or newsletter related to compatible topics (home decor, wellness, lifestyle, crafts, etc.).
- Whispering Lights reserves the right to accept or reject any affiliate application without providing a reason.
- Each affiliate must provide accurate information when registering, including a valid IBAN for the payment of commissions.
3. Commissions
- The commission rate is set at 15% of the amount (excluding shipping costs) of each valid sale generated through your affiliate link.
- The fee applies to orders that have been paid for and have not been canceled or refunded.
- The cookie tracking period is 30 days: if a customer clicks on your link and makes a purchase within the next 30 days, the sale is credited to you.
- In the event of a product return or refund, the corresponding commission will be canceled.
4. Payment of Commissions
- Commissions are calculated and approved on a monthly basis, after the statutory withdrawal period (14 days) has expired and provided there are no disputes or returns.
- Minimum payment threshold: 30€. If your balance does not reach this amount, it is carried over to the following month.
- Payment must be made exclusively by bank transfer within 14 days of the amount being confirmed.
- You are responsible for reporting this income in accordance with the laws in effect in your country.
5. Authorized Promotional Materials
You can use:
- Banners, photos, and images provided by Whispering Lights
- Your personal affiliate link on your website, blog, or social media
- Honest and personal reviews of our products
6. Prohibited Behaviors
It is strictly prohibited to:
- Engage in self-referral (purchase through your own link to earn a commission)
- Use spam (email, comments, social media) to promote your links
- Making false claims about our products
- Bidding on keywords that include the "Whispering Lights" brand in paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, etc.) without authorization
- Using deceptive methods (forced cookies, unwanted pop-ups, etc.)
Any violation will result in the immediate suspension of the affiliate account and the cancellation of any pending commissions.
7. Term and Termination
- You can leave the program at any time by contacting us.
- Whispering Lights reserves the right to suspend or terminate an affiliate account in the event of a breach of these terms, without prior notice.
- Commissions that have already been approved prior to termination remain due, except in cases of proven fraud.
8. Liability
- Whispering Lights is not responsible for any loss of revenue resulting from technical issues (tracking failures, cookie errors, etc.), although we are committed to resolving them promptly.
- The affiliate acts as an independent partner who is not an employee or a legal representative of the brand.
9. Changes to the Terms
Whispering Lights reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Affiliates will be notified by email in the event of significant changes (commission rates, payment thresholds, etc.).
